When do we plant?

Georgina Garden Centre plants 7 days a week.  Our plantings are scheduled as soon as we get all of our ticket clearances from Ontario One Call. (It is the LAW, we CANNOT put a shovel in the ground without ticket clearances. Ticket clearances can take anywhere from 10-20 business days for completion depending on how busy ON1Call is. You may see paint marks from some utility companies, this does not mean ticket clearances are complete. Please see below for more information.)

As soon as we receive all of our clearances, we will phone to let you know when we can plant your product. You can also request a later date for planting, if you’re planning ahead.

How much is planting?

Georgina Garden Centre asks that the planting is paid in full before we place our call to ON1Call; we accept Visa, MasterCard, Debit & cash.  The planting price includes your purchased material delivered to a specific address and one hole is dug for each plant.  Extra delivery charges may apply.

Extra charges will apply for the following services:

– removal of existing plant material/debris

– number of staff needed to complete job in a timely fashion

– machinery to aid in the planting/moving of product

Planting Charges – Tree, Shrub & Evergreens

PLEASE NOTE: Deliveries and planting are possible ONLY if there is clear and level access without steps or other obstructions.  If exceptions to these conditions are not noted to our sales staff at time of purchase in writing, then an additional cost may apply at the rate of $50.00 per hour (+HST).

Call before you dig is MANDATORY by law!
